NAME: Zhuzhi Lang
CANON: Scum Villain’s Self Saving System

AGE: Unkown. Physically Late teens early twenties.
BACKGROUND:
Zhuzhi Lang’s life started off as a nameless ugly creature half man and half snake. He lived in the southern part of the demon realm alone and more or less shunned from others. He never knew his parents and interacted with no one.
The first person he ever really interacts with is Tianlang jun the Demon Lord, who is his uncle. When his mother died Tianlang jun went to find her son and give him what he inherited from her. When Tialang jun found him he was a bit miffed at the creature Zuzhi lang was. But, he gave him his name, his titles, and knowledge of his lands. Receiving his first kindness Zhuzhi lang decides to follow Tianlang jun everywhere. While doing this he is granted a beautiful human-looking body and studies to better be useful and supportive to his lord.
Tianlang jun was very fascinated with the human world and would travel there frequently. Zhuzhi lang would also go there with him and take care of basic necessities. He was the one to handle paying for things, arranging inns, travel, entertainment, as well as acting as a bodyguard. Frequently he would also offer transportation by turning into a giant snake and being ridden.
When Tianlang jun fell in love with a human woman and started a romance with her it started an uproar. The cultivation sects of the human world conspired to kill him and succeeded. Of course, this meant that his second in command Zhuzhi Lang also fell with him. Though they both did not quite die, they were reduced greatly in power and physical abilities. Tianlang jun’s body was lost, and Zhuzhi Lang was reduced to the ugly half-snake creature he had been when he first met his lord.
Zhuzhi Lang first meets Shen Qingqiu when Master Shen is looking for the Dew Flower Seed. Zhuzhi Lang was also trying to obtain a seed, but was unable to do it in his snake-man state. Shen Qingqiu makes a path that allows Zhuzhi Lang to also reach the Dew Flower Seed and also saves him from being killed having mercy for his pathetic existence. This is when he incurs a debt to Shen Qingqiu.
A few years later they are reunited, this Time Zhuzhi Lang has his human body back. He ends up saving Shen Qingqiu while Master Shen is inhabiting a plant body made by the dew Flower Seed. During this time he feeds Shen Qingqiu the blood of his lord Tianlang jun
He tries to take Master Shen back to the demon realm for safekeeping, but Shen Qingqiu refuses and tricks him to escape. He has him take him to a brothel where he has them make wine-filled with an herb that will incapacitate Zhuzhi Lang. This works, though not until he turns into a giant snake and rampages through town a little bit.
The next time they see each other is when Zhuzhi Lang is back in the demon realm and they successfully resurrect Shen Qingqiu back into his original body. (Zuzhi Lang had stolen it from Cang Qiong Mountain). Zhuzhi Lang as a giant snake is guarding the outside of the mausoleum as Shen Qingqiu meets Tianlang jun. It turns out Zhuzhi Lang is quite fond of Shen Qingqiu and wishes to save him from the impending destruction of the human world Tianlang jun is planning.
Shortly after Ressurection Luo BInghe comes and crashes the party and a bunch of fights happen, Zhuzhi Lang fights them to protect his lord but is conflicted every time he has to fight Shen Qingqiu. Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe almost escape, or, Luo BInghe can get away but Shen Qingqiu has to stay with them.
As a hostage and having taken wounds in the form of plants trying to grow out of his arm, Shen Qingqiu is taken care of by Zhuzhi Lang. They are traveling in a sort of caravan towards the border of the human realms and demon realms. Zhuzhi Lang carefully administers medicine and medical care to remove the plants, as well as setting up tents at night. He tries to give Master Shen all the comfort he can.
While they are traveling Luo Binghe breaks into one of their camps trying to whisk Shen Qingqiu away. Zhuzhi Lang walks in on this and is pinned to the ground by his neck and threatened. Tianlang Jun walks in later while they are awkwardly trying to cover the presence of Luo Binghe. (It doesn’t work he knows he’s there, just ignores it.) and then more fighting happens as Shen Qingqiu’s rescue squad Liu Qingge and his disciple come to kick ass and take names.
We don’t see Zhuzhi Lang again until the end, Tianlang Jun attempts to merge the human realm and demon realm together, but it’s fueled by Luo Binghe. Everyone is fighting and the mountain they are on is falling apart. Tianlang Jun’s temporary plant body is falling apart and the magic that keeps Zhuzhi Lang together is fading. When the mountain gives way Zhuzhi Lang curls around his lord and sacrifices himself to save him.
PERSONALITY:
Loyal: Zhuzhi Lang is loyal to a fault. Once he has accepted a person as someone to trust and follow, he will trust and follow them to the ends of the earth. Before meeting Shen Qingqiu the person he trusted the most was Tianlang Jun, who he served without question. After meeting Shen Qingqiu he started to have some conflicts, as he also felt a need to be loyal to Master Shen, but that put him at odds with his lord at times. In the end, he always chooses his lord, though once he did defy his lord a small bit to help Shen Qingqiu. It is mildly implied that Tianlang Jun might have been trying to get Zhuzhi Lang to go with Shen Qingqiu and grow as a person.
Naive but dangerous: Though Zhuzhi Lang has experienced many things in his travels his way of thinking of the world is very simple and almost naive. It’s closer to the way an animal might view things. If someone hurts him, he kills them, if someone is nice to him, he rewards them. He sees nothing wrong in these actions and when questioned is honestly bewildered and confused by the negative reaction. He understands that Shen Qingqiu is angry with him (he killed a young cultivator Shen Qingqiue was familiar with and liked) but he is unable to understand why. Thus future actions are judged less on an is that right or wrong, but, would that make Master Shen angry or not. Humans are also confusing to him in general.
Calm: Zhuzhi Lang is a very calm person, he presents a calm and collected individual of learning, dignified and graceful. However, he is still a demon. And always underneath there is the potential viciousness of a demon. This isn’t two-faced though, he really is polite and has a lot of patience, but, he will also deal with problems in what he considers simple methods, which usually means just killing the problem.
Humble: He is very humble, and does not think he deserves a high status. He even refers to himself as humble (low). Originally with Tianlang Jun named him he gave him the honorific Jun, but Zhuzhi Lang said it was inappropriate and said it should be Lang, a rank lower. He acts as a servant to Tianlang Jun, not his nephew, and even to Shen Qingqiu, he is rather deferential. His self worth is very low. He can’t imagine a world where he is not serving his lord, or potentially repaying his debt to Shen Qingqiu, even in the end he sacrifices his life for his lord deeming him worth more than himself.
Humor: Zhuzhi Lang does have a sense of humor, and sometimes has a hard time keeping himself composed because of it. He found it greatly amusing that Shen Qingqiu and Luo Binghe had a bawdy ballad about them and that Shen Qingqiu had such a strong and negative reaction to it. He couldn’t stop himself from laughing and then tried to excuse himself because he couldn’t regain his composure.
Logical: He is very logical in his approach to problems, it is one of the reasons his method of dealing with things is so black and white. But, this also made him a good second in command general and able to keep Tianlang Jun’s outings more or less smooth. He was also capable of quickly changing plans when problems arose and was able to figure out how to save and help his lord.
When going through his logic process it can make him seem cold and terrifying, especially to humans which he has a hard time understanding since their logic process is so different. Though, he does try to understand it more and has more of an interest in learning when Shen Qingqiu is upset with his decisions.
Soft: Zhuzhi Lang first comes across like a soft individual, a kind polite voice, a warm smile, inviting nature. And, this is not necessarily wrong. He is all of those things to the right person. To the wrong person and he will just kill them without a second thought. And as a demon, he can be vicious. We don’t see him do anything particularly vicious (though he was responsible for several deaths) but we know he is more than capable of cold bloodshed with no remorse.
POWERS/ABILITIES:
Snakes: He has the ability to control snakes. He can use snakes to track people, to do intel gathering, to stay on a person and bite them if they do something he doesn’t want. He can sense snakes and communicate with them. They are like his minions.
Heavenly Demon: He is of the Heavenly Demon bloodline, which are demons that originated in heaven and left to become demons. This means that he is more powerful than other demons and is on the same level as his cousin Luo Binghe. (Binghe is still stronger than him, but as far as demon ranks and their blood canceling each other out they are equal.)
Heavenly Demon Blood: When ingested his blood acts as a tracker, and manipulation tool. He can control someone’s body, causing them pain, cause them pleasure, or, fight other demon blood to a stalemate.
Snake Body: He can turn into a giant poisonous snake.
INVENTORY:
Qiankun sleeve and pouch: Like a bag of holding, but also inside one’s sleeve.
Pop up tent: A tent that can be folded into the palm of the hand, but when unfolded is like a large room with all accommodations.
